Anti-immigration has recently become more prevalent due to the refugee crisis that is taking place in Europe.

It is important to remember that in postwar Europe, Jews were also refugees trying to find a new place to call home. Many of them moved to new countries in Europe, the United States, Canada and Israel.

We have selected the film "The Long Way Home", at the JCC to show our support for the Day of Solidarity with Refugees.
